This website (MotoMiser) is operated by MotoMiser Ltd, a company registered in England and Wales under company number 17330636, with its registered office at 128 City Road, London, EC1V 2NX, United Kingdom. • No account, no sign-up. Browsing MotoMiser needs no account, and we never ask for your name or payment details. Purchases happen on the retailer's own website, under their privacy policy. The one place we ask for an email address is the optional price alerts feature, described below.
• Price alerts. If you set a price alert, we store your email address together with the product, colour, size and target price you chose, so we can email you when the price reaches your target. Our lawful basis is your consent: alerts start only after you confirm by email (double opt-in), and you can withdraw at any time using the one-click unsubscribe link in every alert email, which closes all your alerts immediately. We store no IP address or browser details with your alert. If an email to you bounces or you mark one as spam, we stop emailing you.
• Technical & log data. Like most websites, our hosting provider automatically records standard request data (IP address, browser type, pages requested, time) to run the site securely, prevent abuse and diagnose problems.
• Affiliate referral data. When you click a link to a retailer, the affiliate network behind that link (the eBay Partner Network, Awin or Amazon Associates) and the retailer may record that the visit came from MotoMiser so any resulting sale can be attributed to us. We don't receive your identity from them, only aggregated click and commission reports. See “Cookies”, “Affiliate links” and “Third parties we rely on” below.
• Store enquiries. If a retailer chooses to contact us through our “List your store” form, we collect the details they provide (such as store name, website, a contact name and email) so we can consider listing their shop and reply to them. Our lawful basis is our legitimate interest in growing the stores we compare. We keep these enquiries only for as long as needed to deal with them and delete them when they're no longer relevant.

Cookies are small files stored on your device. We keep our own use minimal and rely on the following categories:

• Strictly necessary. Used only to make the site work (for example, remembering filter or display preferences during your visit). These don't track you across other sites.
• Privacy-friendly analytics (no cookies). We use Vercel Web Analytics for basic, aggregated visitor statistics (like page views and referrers). It does not use cookies or store anything on your device and doesn't track you across sites, so it needs no consent.
• Google Analytics (optional, only with your consent). For deeper insight we use Google Analytics 4 (Google LLC). Its cookies are off by default and are only set if you choose “Accept” in our cookie banner. You can withdraw consent at any time via the “Cookie settings” link in the footer.
• Affiliate / partner cookies. The eBay Partner Network, Awin, Amazon Associates and the retailers you click through to may set cookies to attribute a purchase to MotoMiser. These are set by those third parties on their own websites, after you leave MotoMiser, and are governed by their own policies rather than ours.

We don't use advertising or profiling cookies, and we don't sell your data. You can change your cookie choices at any time via the “Cookie settings” link in the footer, or control and delete cookies in your browser settings. Blocking non-essential cookies won't stop you comparing prices, though it may prevent a retailer from crediting MotoMiser for a referral.

MotoMiser may earn a commission when you click through to a retailer and make a purchase, at no extra cost to you. We are a participant in the eBay Partner Network, the Amazon Associates Programme and the Awin affiliate network. This is how we fund a free comparison service. It does not influence the prices you see or how listings are ranked. We always aim to show the genuine best price for the item.

• Hosting: Vercel (serves the website and processes request logs).
• Analytics: Vercel Web Analytics (cookieless, aggregated) always; Google Analytics 4 (Google LLC) only after you opt in via the cookie banner. The banner itself is the open-source Silktide Consent Manager, served from our own site, so no consent-management service receives any of your data, and your choice is stored only in your browser.
• Affiliate partners: when you click through to a retailer, the link is tracked by the network that retailer uses. We work with the eBay Partner Network (eBay Inc./eBay Partner Network, US and Ireland) for listings on eBay, Awin (Awin Ltd, a UK company) for retailers including Demon Tweeks and Ghost Bikes, and the Amazon Associates Programme (Amazon EU S.à r.l.) for Amazon links. Following one of these links takes you to that network or retailer, which receives your IP address, browser details and the fact that you arrived from MotoMiser, and may set its own cookies to attribute a purchase. Each operates under its own privacy policy.
• Product images: every product photo is loaded by your browser directly from the servers of the marketplace or retailer that listed it (for eBay listings, eBay's own image CDN). Those servers therefore see your IP address and browser details, as they would for any image on any website. We don't route product photos through any image proxy or third-party CDN, and no image request carries an identifier we hold about you.
• Email delivery: Resend (Plus Five Five, Inc., a US company) delivers our email: “List your store” enquiries to our inbox, and price-alert emails to subscribers who have asked for them. Resend is certified under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework and its UK Extension, which the UK recognises as providing adequate protection for personal data transferred to the US, and we have a data processing agreement with them.
• Retailers & listing sources: our listings come from the eBay UK marketplace (via eBay's public Browse API), from retailer product feeds supplied through Awin, and from stores we add ourselves. We collect that listing data on our own servers on a schedule, not while you browse, so no request of yours is passed to those sources when you search or view a page. Each retailer and marketplace has its own privacy policy, which applies once you click through.

We share only what's necessary for these services to function and never sell your personal data.

We keep technical log data only as long as needed for security and operating the site, then it's deleted or anonymised. We don't hold customer accounts or order data, because purchases happen on the retailer's site.

Price alerts: an alert you never confirm is deleted after 7 days. Closed alerts and our records of the alert emails we sent are deleted 90 days after the alert ends. If you unsubscribe, we keep only a hashed (unreadable) form of your address on our do-not-email list, so your opt-out keeps being honoured after everything else is deleted.

Under UK GDPR you have the right to access, correct, or erase personal data we hold about you, to object to or restrict its processing, and to data portability. For price alerts, the one-click unsubscribe link in every alert email is the quickest way to withdraw consent and have your alerts closed immediately, with no need to email us. For anything else, email admin@motomiser.co.uk. You also have the right to complain to the UK's Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) at ico.org.uk.

MotoMiser is intended for adults shopping for motorcycle gear and is not directed at children. We don't knowingly collect data from children.

We may update this policy from time to time. The “last updated” date at the top shows when it last changed; significant changes will be reflected here.
